Titel: Amsterdam Skaters in Vienna! Looking for help!
Hello Skaters,
The first weekend in may 2007, we will visiting Vienna with about 20 skaters from Amsterdam. Most of us are crew in the Amsterdam FNS.
In the past years we visiting several city's in Europe and the US to skate and make fun and this spring we are coming to Vienna.
I have some questions about our weekend in Vienna.
- I read about the first official FNS in Vienna on may 18, but is there a wild tour on Friday Night may 4? We want to participate with our group with you!
- Is there someone in Vienna, who wants to ride and guide with us on Saturday or/and Sunday for a nice tour around Vienna?
- What is the hotspot for skaters in Vienna? In Amsterdam we have the Vondelpark, a famous park and the start for the FNS Amsterdam.
- Do you have any suggestions for us to skate in- or outside Vienna? I heard about a nice route along the Donau?
I hope to hear from you soon!
Regards,
Peter

you're right. u can skate several hour next to the danube. back and forth...*g*
the start of the official fns is in a park in the center of vienna. but for just-for-fun-skating-tours u can start whereever u want.
i'm sure you will find a group of people here to skate with you.
Thanks for the warm welcome! We are looking forward to skate in Vienna. The group is allready exited now!
We don't have a wintersleep in Amsterdam. The group is in winter small, but there is every week a Nightskate in Amsterdam. The diehards keep on rolling!
First we want to thank you all for the warm welcome on the Heldenplatz, last friday. We liked the "wild" nightskate very much. The rain was just 30 minutes to early..
Vienna is a great city to skate! This was for us the first time to skate in Vienna, but not the last time!! We love the Donau Inzell and all the other bike lane's in the city. Some of us make the tour from Vienna to Bratislava. Next time more people will do that tour! We love the adventure!
When you want to visit the Friday Nightskate in Amsterdam, you are welcome! We ride every friday, 52 times a year! Visit our site at: www.fridaynightskate.com

Hello Peter & friends,
the pleasure is for us! Thank you especially for doing the blocker-job in such an enthousiastic way - it helped to make that wild nightskate really a great success - even despite of the imminent rain
Also, 1 more question: Can you report a bit more on your Bratislava tour? ..... sounds very interesting....
Here something about the (skate) route to Bratislava. Thanks to Edwin, He made it in German. Hope you will make it...
Hallo,
auto fahrbahn geskated.

Hi Edwin, hi Peter,
thank you for the thrilling description of the Bratislava-tour. Chapeau to all who made it - I 'm sure you had a lot of fun and satisfaction.
I enjoyed a lot _reading_ it - say: like a piece of literature. However if I would enjoy skating it ? .... puh, I do not know. But if ever I dare, I will let you know my impressions.
